The French government, in an effort to encourage people to combat the virus, proposed the slogan 'Restons chez vous', which translates to 'Please stay at home' in English.

The balconies of Paris story

Illustration stories
Each balcony tells a story—while people couldn’t leave their homes, daily life unfolded with energy and creativity. Despite isolation, the building became a shared canvas of resilience, with neighbors staying connected through small routines, gestures, and moments of everyday life.
The “Restons chez nous” series captures these snapshots from lockdown—each window revealing a different scene, together forming a collective portrait of how residents adapted during confinement.
